Set in a leafy part of Hackney, this beautiful Grade II listed house exuded elegance but lacked personality. The owners wanted us to inject some life into the interiors, balancing the classic Georgian architecture with bold and contemporary elements.

The bay window in the living room was our starting point for inspiration. We brought in rounded, voluminous furniture to reflect its curved shape, contrasting the softness with a geometric, monochrome patterned rug. Graphic lines continue on the hallway wall, while a vivid, high-gloss orange front door adds an unexpected pop of colour in an otherwise neutral space – helping to put a smile on the owners’ faces every time they leave the house.
